Heidi Watney was born May 19, 1981. She is an American sportscaster and works as an anchor on Apple TV+. [1] She was a National Merit Scholar, and she was a student at the University of San Diego as an academic scholarship. In 2003 she graduated from the university with high honors. Watney participated in Miss California USA in 2002 and was the first third place. In September 2003, Watney worked for KMPH-TV (FOX 26) in Fresno. She began her career as a morning traffic reporter, before moving to weekend anchor in 2005 and becoming a reporter for the weekdays. She moved to Massachusetts in 2008 and started working for New England Sports Network. She worked as an on-game reporter for the Boston Red Sox. Watney was also host of Ultimate Red Sox Show, Red Sox Report and Red Sox Report. In January 2012 Watney started working at Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles as a reporter for LA Galaxy. However, in November 2012, she was hired by MLB Network. There she spent nine-years. She was the host of Quick Pitch. She joined Apple TV+ in 2022.
