Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne along with her three siblings. When she was 17, her parents separated. The financial issues continued to mount when their business went bankrupt. The problem was made worse due to being bulimic or anorexic. Gossow has stated that there's a proper time and place for everything to be done with regards to her decision of stepping down from the band ARCH ENEMY. She is its lead artist. My career began in 1991. I began to lose the joy to be being a professional out on the road. So I decided to step off instead of pretending. Originally, the lead singer of the group was Johan Liiva. She was then replaced in 2000 with German singer Angela Gossow. The track was made available in the form of Australian vocalist John Farnham in 1986.
