Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada, and is now American. She has more than twenty albums. DiFranco has released more than 20 albums. The widely regarded feminist icon Grammy recipient Ani DiFranco was the founder of the DIY movement, and was among the pioneers to establish her own label 1990. DiFranco's parents were Elizabeth (Ross), a former student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Dante Americo DiFranco met each the other when they were students at the same school. Her mother hails from Montreal and her father has Italian origins. Ani Difrasco composed and recorded the track "32 Flavors". Ani DiFranco, a writer and musician from the punk/folk genre, was just 25 when she released her 7th album Not A Pretty Girl and had even greater success with the public by releasing Dilate. "Brandy" (You're A Beautiful Girl) from the American Popular Rock group Looking Glass is from the album Looking Glass. It was written by Looking Glass lead guitarist and co-vocalist Elliot Lurie.
